Jordan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a product mold and get initial inventory for my coffee tools. These pitchers will go directly to all those in the coffee community that have already wanted to purchase them.

Jordan's story

Where to begin.. during childhood, I was known as "the sweaty kid". I found myself exploring, playing games/ sports, and often getting into things that I wasn't supposed to. With a lot of freedom from a young age, I chose social activities and sports over school (crazy right). This continued into high school, until it was time for a change of scenery and focus on academics. I attended a prep school where I was challenged through academics and on my character. Two major take-aways: good ol' John Romac always said," whatever you do.. don't lie, don't quit, and do your best." This changed the way I viewed my academic role, also fitting into every aspect of my life. The next was.. attitude is a choice! No matter what situation we find ourselves in, we can choose to make the situation a positive one. From there I received my BA in Philosophy while continuing my education in Math. Went on to teach Algebra 1 and Geometry to freshman and sophomores. Taught 5th grade outdoor ed in Houston. Led backpacking trips through the Adirondacks. Then traveled to Australia. This is where I received my first job in coffee, giving tastings for Yahava Koffee. It was a blast teaching the science of coffee to large tourist groups. I continued on as a barista and manager in Maine and Oregon working with multiple coffee roasters. These experiences and skills have led me to being an inventor. Looking at products to understand why they were developed that way. I decided to combine an industry that I love with my logical thought process to have an impact on people’s day-to-day lives. Walla.. Engrav Coffee Designs! It's been awhile since I've thought about how I ended up here. Can't wait to see what happens next!
