Leslie Aime's story
Leslie belongs to the community banking group "El Breo," in the Juanjui District, Mariscal Cáceres Province, in the Department (state) of San Martín. She's single, 28 years old and is the mother of 2 children, who are self-reliant. For 5 years she's worked selling small decorative merchandise. She began with 700 soles and little by little, she's built her business, thanks to the Manuela Ramos movement. She's already very well known by her clients in the neighborhood where she lives, and her daily, bi-monthly and monthly sales are very good. Nowadays she is still in the same business located in her same house in a location that is very well set up to attend to her clients. With this loan of 3000 soles, she will buy small decorative merchandise like: clocks, lamps, ceramic decorations, and vases. She's a woman who wants very much to get ahead for the well being of her family and for herself. She would like to express her kind thanks to the Manuela Ramos movement for allowing her to grow as a business owner and as a woman and for supporting other women who also want to get ahead.
