Mujeres Adelante Al Progreso 3 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy merchandise to sell in her store such as rice, oil, bread, juice, soda, cold cuts, fruit, sugar, water, and salt, among other things.

Mujeres Adelante Al Progreso 3 Group's story

Olguin is a woman who is a Haitian immigrant who came to the Dominican Republic fifteen years ago from the neighboring country of Haiti in search of better living conditions.

Olguin lives in a batey in the province of San Perdro de Macorís. Beteyes are very impoverished communities. The majority of the residents are Haitian immigrants.

For eight years, Olguin has had a shop. It began as a cafe where she sold sandwiches, and later she decided to expand the cafe and set up a neighborhood store where she sells many more products and makes better income which helps her to support her children.

Olguin could not go to school and, for this reason, she wants to see her children study and become professional individuals. She also dreams of having her own house and seeing her shop become big and prosperous.

Olguin needs your help to be able to buy merchandise such as rice, oil, bread, juice, soda, cold cuts, fruit, sugar, water, and salt, among other items.
