Virgen De Itati Group's story

The group named “Virgen de Itati” consists of women who are participating in their eighth loan cycle with the Women’s Committee Program. Most of them work at their own businesses in order to support their families.

One of the members is Sra. Mirta, who manages her own convenience store at her home. With each loan that she has accessed from Fundación Paraguaya, Mirta has been able to increase her inventory of products. She currently sells basic necessities, bazaar merchandise, cleaning products, cured meats, and dairy products.

Mirta is requesting a loan to buy beverages, baked goods, meat, greens, fruits, vegetables, and other products. She appreciates the opportunity she has received to continue her business so that she can help her family.
