Rose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to help a single mom buy more stock for her agrovet shop (a shop for farm inputs such as animal feed, drugs, and pesticides).

Rose's story

Rose is a young single mom farmer from a remote village in Sotik, Kenya. She has defied the common thinking among Kenyans that agriculture is for the older generation. Her primary sources of income are practicing mixed farming and also running an agrovet shop.

Rose (pictured in her shop) is requesting a loan to buy more stock for her agrovet shop. Her remote area has few agro dealers, who cater to many smallholder farmers. Rose wants to tap into the potential agricultural market and make sure they don’t lack farm inputs such as animal drugs. Rose will also help the smallholder farmers in her area who have, for a long time, been having a serious problem accessing affordable farm inputs. You can be part of this dream. Go for it; make a loan.
