Grace's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy chicks, feed and vaccines.

Grace's story

Grace is an 18-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her sister and three siblings in the Wedza district in Zimbabwe. She is requesting a Kiva loan to boost her own poultry business, keeping broilers (meat chickens) for resale. Grace intends to purchase a variety of feeds, troughs, and vaccines to keep her livestock healthy. Grace plans to use the profit she earns to support her family as well as needy students in the community.

Grace will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering four hours per week as a Transition learner, supporting Learner Guides to carry out study group sessions in the community and to follow up on dropouts and students with attendance challenges.
