Sauaonuu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy taro roots (seedling), banana tube (seedling), chemicals, a backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw.

Sauaonuu's story

Sauaonuu is a 62-year-old married woman with seven children. She runs a business selling taro and bananas in her community to earn a living. She has four years of experience with this business. She also own a cattle farm from which she can also sell to earn extra income. Her family and her older children helps her with the business.

She works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and banana. She thought she will earn more income if she plants more banana and taro, but in order to do this, Sauaonuu needs a loan to buy taro roots (seedling), banana tube (seedling), chemicals, a backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw, to help her run the business. She delivers her products to the flea market by using the bus (transportation).

She comes from a family in which no one works to earn a living. Only her business will help her family needs. Her dream is that one day her family will be in a great living standard.

She became a member of SPBD in 2017 to seek finance for her business. Sauaonuu realized that your support will be a big help for her and her family to develop through financing.
