Caroline's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy day-old chicks, starter, growers and drinker for her poultry business.

Caroline's story

Caroline is a 44-year-old woman who is married with four children. She lives with her family in a rural community outside Honiara, capital of Solomon Islands.

She has a small poultry business where she farms chickens and sells the eggs to her customers in hotels, shops and at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for four years.

Caroline has requested this loan to help her pay for additional day-old chicks, starter, growers and drinker to assist her in running her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's expenses and to help pay for her children's school fees.

She became a member of SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services for her business.
