A loan helped to purchase another cow to expand her dairy business.

Jyotsna's story

Jyotsna is a 46-year-old woman residing in Alipurduar district, West Bengal. She is a homemaker and is also engaged in a small dairy business for an alternate income for the family. She sells milk and milk products like curd, ghee or butter, paneer (cottage cheese), etc. Her husband runs a small tea shop, so she also provides some milk for that shop. She has a family of four members and an income of INR 10,500 per month.

She wishes to expand her business by purchasing another cow. So, she has applied for a loan of INR 40,000 from BJS, one of Milaap's field partners. She and her family will be thankful to all the lenders for the support extended.
