Miriam's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy certified seeds and fertilizers to expand her potato farm and make more profits for her family, upgrading her living standards in 2019.

Miriam's story

When Miriam was starting mixed farming a few years ago, her efforts only seemed to look like a drop in the water. Later on her efforts bore her fruits and today she feels like she has gone through a large milestone when it comes to agricultural production. This is as a result of her passion, determination, and work ethics. Her primary sources of income are potatoes and dairy farming.

Miriam is seeking a loan of 40,000 KES that she will use to buy certified seeds and high-nutrient fertilizers to expand her potato farm. By scaling up her business, she will relatively reduce production costs and increase output.

Her strategy is to use the returns from the investment to pay for more farm inputs, a lack of which is a major problem that leads to the closing down of many farms due to poor quantity and quality of yields. She will, therefore, be able to increase her profits. This will elevate her to improve her standard of living as well as that of her beautiful children. She wishes all her lenders a happy new year.
