Benkadi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rams for resale in order to help her husband take care of their children.

Benkadi Group's story

Adam is the person with the rope on the ram. A Malian aged 30, Adam is married and a mother of 5 children aged 2 to 19 years old. She breeds rams, while her husband is a farmer.

Adam supplies and sells these animals at the weekly fairs in her area. The sales enable her to earn profits that vary from 25,000 to 35,000 francs per ram every 6 months.

She has been doing this work for almost 8 years, and her earnings have let her take care of medical, education and clothing fees of her children as well as the food security of her family. She is also able to help her husband with some family responsibilities.

Adam still counts on the support given by the RMCR so that she can build a large enclosure (animal pen) and gradually buy lots of animals to develop her business and eradicate her poverty.
