Neomi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more clothes, sandals, slippers and shoes to sell.

Neomi's story

Neomi is 34 years old. She lives together with her partner along with two children, aged 10 and 14 years. The children are presently in school and live at home.

Neomi attended school up to the 11th grade. She runs a business selling clothes, sandals, slippers and shoes in the general market. She got her start-up capital from her husband and her mother taught her how to sell. She has operated the business for eight years, and considers herself to be a strong business woman. She transports supplies to her business site by car.

To increase her business, Neomi has requested for a loan through KIVA Filed Partner BRAC Liberia. With this loan she will buy more clothes, sandals, slippers and shoes to sell in order to repay her loan installment and increase her profits.

She likes her business because it helps to support her family and she is proud of her business because it gives her more profits. In the future she would like to improve the business and continue her children's education. She is highly grateful for the financial support BRAC and KIVA have rendered.
