Bassy Lewrou's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase five containers of palm oil, five bags of sugar, and three pails of peanut butter.

Bassy Lewrou's Group's story

This two-member group is part of a banc villageois that was established in December 2014. Its members are very active women with a good relationship between them. They all run small businesses.

Madame Bassy Lewrou (standing on the far right with her hand raised) is the group representative. She is married, 49 years old, and the mother of four children.

She works selling peanut butter, sugar, and palm oil that she purchases from the weekly markets. With this new loan, she plans to purchase five containers of palm oil, five bags of sugar, and three pails of peanut butter, which she will sell as retail from her home.

She plans to use the profits to feed her animals.
