Kellen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers for her newly planted banana plantation in order to boost her yields and income so that she can pay her children's school fees.

Kellen's story

Kellen is one of the oldest clients of UGAFODE. She is a single mother to school-aged children. She does banana growing as her main business.

Kellen has managed to grow her farming business with the continuous support from Kiva. She is truly grateful to the lenders for the funds that are transforming lives and communities. She realized a good return from the sale of her bananas, which she used to complete her rentals. The extra income from the rental units has improved the family's livelihood.

Kellen is requesting another loan of 5,000,000 UGX to buy fertilizers for her newly planted banana plantation so that she can harvest good yields. She will use the proceeds to pay her children's school fees.

Thank you lenders for the continued support.
