Total loan: $600

Chota - Cajamarca, Cajamarca, Peru / Agriculture

Elidia's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to invest in the purchase of small animals (ducks, guinea pigs, chickens) and fixing up her house for the rainy season.

Elidia's story

Elidia is 54 years old, partnered, and lives with her family in the village of Pingobamba, a rural zone of Chota. It is a community which works in agriculture, trade and raising animals, located in the province of Chota, which belongs to the Cajamarca region of Peru.

Elidia has worked for 8 years raising and selling animals on a piece of land which she has as an inheritance. She raises animals such as cows, sheep, bulls, and more. When they have arrived at a good point of development, she offers them for sale to the business people who always visit the zone where she lives.

Elidia wants to invest in the purchase of livestock such as cows and bulls and feed for them, to later sell them and generate more income. For this, she has asked for a loan of 2,004 soles.

Elidia is a returning borrower with Edpyme Alternativa and has very good references from her neighbors since the people in her community know her for being very responsible and honest. Her great desire is to enjoy a better quality of life.
