Las Gorditas 2 Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy merchandise to sell, such as panties, bras, boxers, pajamas, chorizos, candies, cookies, etc.

Las Gorditas 2 Group's story

Amalia lives in San Pedro de Macoris, a province of Dominican Republic known for having the biggest amount of sugar mills in the country.

Amalia is mother of 6 children and she has become an entrepreneur in order to support her family.

Amalia works selling underwear such as panties, bras, boxers and pajamas. She also sells chorizos and has a small stand where she sells cookies, juices and snacks, among other things.

The financial difficulties forced Amalia to venture with different types of businesses in order to generate incomes and help her family.

Amalia wasn’t able to finish elementary school, and she only managed to study until the 7th grade, a situation that has been an issue when she’s tried to obtain a paid job due to the lack of an academic preparation.

Amalia needs a loan to buy merchandise to continue with her businesses and thus generate incomes to support her family.

Thanks for helping the group Gorditas 2.
