Ndioba's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy seven sheep.

Ndioba's Group's story

This group was created in February 2001. The women maintain close relationships and are involved in sales and animal-raising businesses.

Ndioba, standing to the right in the photo, is 54 years old. She is married and the mother of four children, including two girls. She is the featured borrower and her business is sales. She goes to the village nearby to purchase animals and resells them during holidays and periods of major ceremonies.

With her new loan, she intends to buy seven sheep to fatten and then resell. The remainder of the loan will be used to buy animal feed. Ndioba will use the income she earns to help her husband pay for the family's daily expenses and to increase her savings at the "banc villageois".
