Kulmira's story

Kulmira, age 56, is married and has four grown children. Kulmira has a secondary education. She is responsible by nature. Kulmira is well-versed in the technology of running an agricultural business and is capable of investing resources for their intended purpose. She has been engaged in animal husbandry and crop farming since 1988 as her family's primary source of income. Thanks to Kulmira's hard work and her husband's help with the farm, her farm currently has two cows, 25 sheep, and a horse, as well as a 1.35-hectare plot of land where she grows clover. In order to develop her farm further, Kulmira applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy cows, with the aim of increasing her income from raising livestock. Kulmira plans to invest profits from the loan in the further development of her farm and plans to use part of the profits to improve living conditions by building a new house for her family.
