Unidos Seremos Mais Group's story

Maria is a widow who has been living in a cohab [public housing project] in the South Zone of São Paulo for 29 years. She was born in the state of Minas Gerais and came to the state of São Paulo to try for a better life.

When her husband died, she needed help to supplement her income, and so she began selling various products such as ice cream, homemade soap, and homemade bread. She has been in this business activity for more than 10 years.

Maria is very friendly and intends to one day build a variety and housewares store in her garage. This loan will enable her to buy packaging and fruits to make sorbets and supplies for making homemade breads, and she will also invest in cleaning products to sell.

Gabriel works as a car mechanic. Rosimar works as a seamstress and sells water and cleaning products. Patricia works selling truffles and morning coffee baskets for more than 7 years. And Lucimar sells rugs and dish cloths and works as a manicurist.
