Bukengere Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for cassava and cornmeal to bolster her business and to cover transport costs.

Bukengere Group's story

Ms. CLEMENTINE is a client at the microfinance institution Hekima and the president of the community bank named “BUKENGERE”. She is 41, married, and the mother of seven children, who are in school. With funds from her husband about 22 years ago, she started doing commerce in cassava flour. And then Hekima supplied her next.

With this loan, she is going to pay for a hundred 100-kg sacks of cassava and 150 sacks of cornmeal for bolstering her business and to cover the transport costs too.

For now, her ambition is to travel abroad in order to do well acquiring supplies at good prices; and to provide all of her children with an education, nice living conditions, and good nutrition. With great appreciation, she thanks Hekima and its partners for thinking about those who are economically deprived.
