Nargas's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to procure raw materials like leather patches, wax, thread, and protective gloves to sew handmade soccer balls for sale.

Nargas's story

Nargas is a woman of 50 who lives with her family in the rural area of Sialkot, Pakistan. Due to the poor financial condition of her family, she has been involved in a soccer ball stitching business for the past eight years. She stitches and sells handmade soccer balls to earn her livelihood.

Currently, due to lack of money, she is unable to purchase the required raw materials like leather patches, wax, thread, and protective gloves.

She has therefore applied for a loan from Kiva’s field partner JWS Pakistan. She hopes that the loan amount will be useful for her business.

Nargas is very happy and thankful to Kiva lenders.
