Ushuhuda Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 25 lengths of pagnes (brightly colored traditional cloth) to increase her capacity to serve.

Ushuhuda Group's story

Riziki sells pagnes (lengths of brightly colored traditional cloth). She walks through the streets of the town to attract prospective customers and sell her products.

Leader of the Ushuhuda Group, she is the mother of 6 children who go to school. She has been doing this activity for more than 7 years. She began the business with the financial support of her husband. Later, she joined Hekima’s loan program to strengthen her capital.

With this new loan, she will buy 25 pagnes to increas her capacity to serve her customers and provide them with good quality outfits during the New Year celebrations (Saint Sylvester).

She wishes to buy a plot of land for her family. Finally, she thanks Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to non-bankable entrepreneurs. Thanks to the loans from Hekima, she can take care of her home.

We should mention that some of the group are holding their babies.
