Lakisa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more crates of soda, eggs, boxes of soap and cassava flour to sell.

Lakisa's story

Lakisa is a 58-year-old hard working, divorced woman with 5 children, all of whom are in school. She is charged with the responsibility of paying school fees for her children. Due to the domestic violence in her marriage, she decided to divorce and live a single life. Using her personal savings, she was able to start up a retail shop where she earns school fees for her children. She has done this for the last 7 years.

From her previous loan, she paid school fees for her children and one of them finished university. Her future hope is educating all her children but her biggest challenge is inadequate capital. She now needs a loan to purchase more crates of soda, eggs, boxes of soap and cassava flour to sell.
