Manos Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase merchandise (toys).

Manos Unidas Group's story

These are the members of the communal bank Manos Unidas, a group made up of 7 enterprising women with great creativity for business.

One of them is Stephanie, 26 years old, single, with 1 daughter. Stephanie, with great effort, has been able to improve herself and get her family ahead. She has had as a business a small bazaar (the sale of different items such as clothing, cosmetics, decorations, toys, etc.) for 8 years now at a stall in the market, which is her only source of income for herself and her family.

With the granted loan, she will invest in the purchase of more merchandise (toys) to later sell and, so, to continue generating more earnings.

Stephanie is the one who is in front of all and is distinguished by carrying her daughter in her arms. Stephanie and all the group members are grateful to Kiva for the granted loan and for the trust offered to them.
