Alejandro's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped Purcahse of fertilizers, insecticides, and seeds.
Alejandro is 45 years old and lives alone in his own house located in the mountains of Perú. For more than 30 years he has grown potatos, green peas, corn, and gladiolus flowers on his land. He works on his farm with his young nephew Elmer who helps him plant, grow, harvest, and later sell the products at the city market. With his profits Alejandro covers his living expenses and invests in caring for his plants. He also provides economic support to his nephew who always cares for him. In the future he hopes to acquire more land where he can grow green peas and gladiolus flowers in different colors. These flowers are sought after in the market. This is the ninth loan that Alejandro has applied for with MFP and he likes to work with the members of his community bank. He pledges to make his payments on time, so that he will be able to receive more loans in the future. He will invest the money from the loan to purchase green pea and gladiolus flower seeds, insecticides, fertilizers, and organic fertilizer.
