Nadine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some more pandanus (raw material from plants used for weaving) for her business and also to hire someone to help her in her weaving.

Nadine's story

Nadine is 28 years old and married with two children who are currently attending school. They are living in a renting home.

Her business is weaving mats and ta'ovala. She sells from home and overseas, and earns money to help her family and also to repay her loan. She's self employed.

Nadine weaves by herself to look after her family and some other people who are living at the same house. There are ten people all staying there.

She requested her loan from SPBD and used it to buy her pandanus (raw material from plants used for weaving) for her business and also to employ someone to help her.

She's spending most of her time working in her business to help her family. Her vision for the future is to generate some more income for her to buy a new piece of land on which to build a new home for her family.
