A loan helped further assist in our business expansion by manufacturing our apparel products in the United States of America. Also to hire one or two employees.
Growing up in the Republic of Georgia, former USSR, was one of the toughest periods of my life. The Most difficult part was observing my mother struggle, going from one job to another to feed her family. Yet, she still managed to make beautiful handmade flowers and sold them to various retail stores. Her entrepreneur spirit and dedication was remarkable, exceeding all the obstacles. My mother has remained an inspiration to me. When I was young I would help her create amazing handmade crafts. I was delighted to watch her marketing strategies, the way she would promote her products through the media and distribute them to the retail stores. Under the Soviet regime, everything was forbidden, but my mother still remained the strongest and the bravest female who defied convention. Her fearless spirit was the reason why our family survived. Despite all of the barriers and hardship, our family managed to stand out, we were different from others, we were ambitious, and our drive remained unstoppable. It’s because of my mother’s life-changing impact and influence on me I became an entrepreneur from a young age.
