A loan helped to buy an industrial oven.

Shirley Denice's story

Shirley, 25, is a single mother. Her son is of primary school age. They live in El Puente, in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
Shirley lives in a family home where she pays her share of utilities such as water, electricity, and gas. Shirley is a baker whobakes bread and empanadas, which she sells at the gates of the local market.
She works six days a week and gets up very early in the morning to bake. She then goes to the market to sell her wares.
This is her third loan. She will use it to buy another industrial oven in order to be able to bake more. Her dream is to set up a small bakery of her own and stop selling on the street. She also wants to buy a small parcel of land where to build a house for herself and her son.
