Ubumwe Nkondo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more inventory of sufficient stock of fresh bananas to sell and also to make juice to sell.

Ubumwe Nkondo Group's story

Bernadette is 53 years old, married and the mother of three children, all of whom are in school. She is very attached to the well-being of her family and she always wants to improve her family's living standards.

Bernadette sells fresh bananas and also sells juice she makes from ripe bananas. She has ten years’ experience in this field. She has no other employee; because she is a hard-working woman, she can handle all duties. Bernadette has expanded her business gradually, but her lack of capital has prevented her from reaching her sales target and slowed her profits.

She is requesting this loan so that she can buy more inventory to have sufficient stock of fresh bananas to sell and also for making juice, which will increase her sales and raise her revenues too. The benefits generated by this loan will be utilized to repair her business building.

This is Bernadette’s second loan cycle with Visionfund Rwanda. For now, her family living conditions have improved. Therefore, Bernadette is truly thankful to the Kiva lenders for this loan.
