Toetu's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a water tank, chemicals, vegetable seeds, soil, and a rake for her vegetable selling business.

Toetu's story

Toetu is a 50-year-old divorced woman with 1 child. She runs a business selling vegetables, including cabbage and cucumber, in her community to earn a living. She has 3 years of experience with this business.

Toetu is a Samoan citizen who works very hard to satisfy her customers with her fresh vegetables. Every day except for Saturday and Sunday, she delivers her vegetables to villages using her wheelbarrow. She also believes that using the wheelbarrow to make deliveries for her business is also making her strong, happy, and healthy.

Toetu needs a loan to purchase more equipment, including a water tank, chemicals, vegetable seeds, soil, and a rake, to help take her business to the next level. Her dream is to earn enough to buy her own vehicle, which will both help her family and help her run the business. She became a member of SPBD in 2018.
