Benito's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped buy a table to display my products at the flea market, as well as new items to increase the variety of my merchandise and attract more clients.
I was brought to the United States as a 5 year old alongside my two brothers. I was raised in east San Jose, which has been predominantly a bad area in San Jose but I never let the bad things around me affect me in a bad way. Growing up I learned that everything that anyone has, is not something you get for free, but you have to work for it. And that is one of the things that my mom taught my brothers and I throughout the years. Unfortunately when I was about 12 years old my dad abandoned my family and me. But that only made my mother, brothers and me even stronger. My mom was the best father and mother that I could've have asked for and always emphasized how hard work and education was my way to success in life. I graduated high school with a 3.94 GPA as the ASB president of my high school. After high school I went straight to working and I've been attending college since. I plan on graduating as a business information systems major and becoming the first person in my family to graduate from college.
