A loan helped to buy pig and bran for them.

He Muong 77 Group's story

Than, 28, is a Thai ethnic woman who is married and has two sons, one of them at the age of 11 and the other one is 2 year old. She lives with her husband and children in a small Thai traditional stilt house in Viet Nam, a northwest mountainous area where agriculture is the main income generating activity of the locals.

Like other villagers, Than and her husband work very hard at farming and breeding with several activities such as growing rice, cassava raising pigs, chickens and buffalo to ensure the well-being of the family. She would like to continue improving her farming but has had insufficient funds to breed her animals. She asked for a loan via Anh Chi Em program to buy pigs and feed for her pigs. She hopes that this investment will bring a great profit for her family which can increase her family's living standard and help her family to develop in a sustainable way. In the picture, she stands at the first from the right.
