A loan helped to buy pigs.

Panh's Group's story

The woman standing first from the right is a strong woman. Her name is Panh. She is 37 years old, and she lives with two sons, ages 16 and 15, in a Thai house.

Panh has tried her best to take care of her children. Most of her income comes from agricultural products such as growing rice and raising pigs.

But productivity is not high because of diseases (in the rice) and she is dependent on the weather. Her main hardship is the lack of capital.

So, in order to expand her pig farming and increase its productivity, Panh has taken a loan from Anh Chi Em program to buy pigs.

With the support of the Anh Chi Em program and the help of her sons, Panh hopes that this investment will bring great profits for her family.
