A loan helped to buy rams to resell for profit.

Nyeta Group's story

Fatoumato Siriki is the one holding the ram's horn in the photo. She is 46 years old and married, and her husband is a shopkeeper. She is the mother of nine children between the ages of 8 and 22, three of which are in school. She didn't attend school regularly.

She has been running her sheep farming business for three years, and she purchases supplies at nearby markets. Her profits after sales can vary between 10,000 to 20,000 CFA. With her earnings she is able to provide for her children's schooling and her family's health coverage, clothing, and food.

In the future Fatoumato Siriki hopes to have more money to be able to care for her children's well-being.
