Betty's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to stock more clothes for sale to raise more income that she will use to pay school fees for her children.

Betty's story

Betty, 34, is married and has four children who all are school-going.

She has sold second-hand clothes as her main source of income for seven years. She also does laundry for some clients to bring in extra income.

She has applied for a loan of 1,200,000 UGX to buy more stock of trousers and men’s shirts to add to her stock since we are entering festive season.

She is confident that her sales and revenue will increase, which she will use to pay her children's school fees for the next school term.

Her dream is to buy a laundry machine because doing it manually is tiresome and time consuming.
