Rose's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped a single mom gain access to cost efficient hybrid seeds and fertilizer for her horticulture cultivation and to use the profits from her farm to improve her life.

Rose's story

Happy and ever smiling stands Rose, a single mother who lives in Kitale. For the past few years, this enterprising woman has been actively involved in mixed farming. She loves farming for it is her only way of securing a living for her lovely family.

Rose (pictured in her house) dreams that through farming she will be able to pull away from poverty and see to it that all her family successfully has a good life. She is a visionary and keen to ensure that she keeps on progressing.

Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, has extended its services to the remote areas in the Nkubu region of Kenya, and their staff are keen to ensure that hardworking women like Rose benefit from loans that should enable them to purchase assets and farming inputs.

Rose is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers to improve her horticulture farm. Your loan will enable her to improve her production through the use of quality farm inputs. Through this intervention, she will be able to improve the quality of her farm products and attract more buyers, leading to more profits.
