Ouleymatou's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 10 20-liter cans of palm oil and 10 buckets of peanut butter.

Ouleymatou's Group's story

The "banc villageois" that this five-member group belongs to was established in January 2004. It is composed of women who have experience in the program, and their main business is retail sales.

Ouleymatou (standing at far right in the photo with her hand raised) is the group's representative. She is a widow and the mother of six boys. She sells palm oil and peanut butter that she buys at the weekly markets to resell at retail from her home.

She plans to use this new loan to buy 10 20-liter cans of palm oil and 10 buckets of peanut butter that she will sell at retail from her home.

She will use the profits to take care of her children and increase her savings.
