Yama's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for two 50-kg sacks of millet, two 50-kg sacks of peanuts, and various products.

Yama's Group's story

The 'banc villageois' to which this group of 12 belongs was set up in December 2014. It is composed of women wanting to improve their living conditions through revenue-generating businesses. They have been living in the same village for several decades and maintain good ties of solidarity and mutual assistance. They are active in small-scale commerce.

Ms. Yama (standing at the far right with a hand raised) is the group's representative. She is 48, married, and the mother of five. She is active selling millet, peanuts, and breakfast foods.

With her new loan, she is planning to sell breakfast foods. The profits will enable her to bolster her savings and to help her husband to cover the children’s expenses.
