Robina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy and import the inventory for my boutique and help to build out the room in my house where I will sell my merchandise.
My name is Robina, and I was born and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan. In 2006, I moved to the United States with my husband and I have lived in New York City ever since. I am the mother of three children that keep me busy in day to day activities. While I was very focused on being a mom, I also have had a dream of starting my own boutique since I was young. This dream originated while growing up in Pakistan. As a child I was always fascinated by new fashion trends and enjoyed designing clothes. As I grew older, I started to learn what did and did not look good on people. While I stopped this once I got married, the dream never left me. This is why, as my children grew older, I looked into finding a job in the retail industry. However, it was not until I separated from my husband that I was able to start building a clothing business of my own. This business was successful for some time through 2012-2014. Unfortunately, there were some family emergencies that came up which forced me to close down the store, something I largely regret. Now, in 2018, my life is finally more stable, and I have the time to go back and work on my business. With more mental and personal strength, I am ready to take charge and achieve my personal business goals.
