Cristabel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase corn, rice, beans, sugar, etc., so she will have a better inventory in the store for the Christmas season which is about to start.

Cristabel's story

Cristabel is single and the mother of two children. Her children are 20 and 11 years old, the older of them recently finished secondary school, while the younger one is in 5th grade of primary school. She and her children live in a relative's house.

Cristabel is the owner of a store where she sells staple pantry products. She says that, for a long time, she worked at a supermarket, but to prevent traveling daily to her job, she decided to open her own business. One year ago, she installed her business in the municipal market of her community.

She has asked for a loan to purchase corn, rice, beans, sugar, etc., so she will have a better inventory in the store for the Christmas season which is about to start. The investment will allow her to have more availability of basic grains in her inventory, due to them having a high demand from her customers and she has not been able to fill them when she should.

She is grateful for the opportunity that the institution offers her to have access to a loan to progress, so her aspiration is to make good use of the money to have a larger business.
