Kaliman's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase livestock to increase her income from livestock fattening and resale.

Kaliman's story

Kaliman used her previous loan for its intended purposes. She is very grateful to the Kiva Foundation and to everybody who helped her with her financing. Her farm today has 4 cows, 23 sheep, and 7 horses, and a land share of 4.56 hectares on which she grows barley and clover.

Kaliman once again applied to the bank "Bai-Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 35,000 som (KGS) to buy cattle to increase the income from fattening and reselling livestock. Kaliman plans to invest the proceeds from the loan into the further development of her agricultural business by increasing the size of her herd.
