A loan helped to buy commercial food and vitamins to feed her chickens, and to buy chickens to raise and sell.

María Reina's story

María is 58 years old. She attended school through the fourth grade. She is married. Her husband is a farmer. She has six children, one of whom is in school and depends on her.

María has worked raising and selling chickens for six years. The coop where she has her chickens is located outside her house. She works from Monday to Sunday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

María will use the funds to buy commercial food and vitamins to feed her chickens, and to buy chickens to raise and sell. She previously received a loan which allowed her to strengthen her business. She paid it off successfully. Her dream is to increase the quantity of animals she has in order to obtain greater income.
