Upendo Bagamoyo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy another sewing machine, tools, sewing materials and textiles to start teaching students in tailoring.

Upendo Bagamoyo Group's story

Fatuma is in her late 40s. She is a single mother of three children, aged 25, 20 and 15, two of whom are still students. Her love for fashion led her to become a tailor. She studied about tailoring services and established her workshop 10 years ago. She is happy with her job and she works hard to make sure to satisfy her customers. She keeps her workshop open daily from 8:00 a.m to midnight. She earns good profit that she uses to fulfill her family's needs.

This will be Fatuma's second loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to add more sewing materials. She earned profit that she used to pay school fees for her children and add more fabrics to her workshop. She managed to pay back the loan. She is applying for this loan to buy another sewing machine, tools, sewing materials and textiles to start teaching students in tailoring. Her dream is to own a big workshop and a tailoring school in the near future.

Fatuma will share a portion of this loan with her loan group members of "Upendo Bagamoyo." They will be responsible for paying back the loan.
