Karine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase cellophane to cover the farm and expand it with potato seeds, so that she can access the market with good products and give her kids a proper education.

Karine's story

Meet Karine, an experienced agronomist from Hovtamej village. She lives with her husband and two school-aged daughters: Sona (10) and Armenuhi (7). Agriculture is the main activity and source of income for the family.

With the help of her husband, Karine has been cultivating cucumber, greens, potatoes, strawberries, and wheat already for 10 years. Then she trades the agricultural goods at local markets.

To sustain the farm during winter and harsh weather conditions, the family needed some financial help. Thus, Karine applied for a support. They plan to purchase cellophane to cover the farm so that rain and snow will not damage the products. They also plan to expand the farm with potato seeds.

Karine is sure that this will assure better products and an access to a wider market. With the additional income, they hope to give their two daughters a proper education and better living conditions.
