A loan helped to increase the products and services offered in his small shop.

Jeff's story

Jeff is a 23-year-old Congolese refugee and a rising entrepreneur. He is very passionate about his business.

He runs his business in one of Rwanda's refugee camps and owns two shops, one located within the camp, while the other is just outside the camp.

Jeff started doing business in 2015. Before that, he was employed in another business learning the skills he needed to launch his own business.

His own shop provides food, groceries and mobile money services. He also owns a shop outside the camp, which sells different types of clothes. The business supports him and his family financially to get the basics of the household.

After successfully repaying his first loan, Jeff is seeking a second loan to help him continue growing his business.
