A loan helped to buy raw materials for his honey business.

Kenneth's story

Kenneth is aged 57 and is married with 6 children. He is a resident of Kampala. He is an honest and hardworking gentleman who is committed to seeing his family have the best standard of living in terms of shelter, medical care and education.

He supplies honey to different supermarkets in and around Kampala. He adds value to his honey by packing it in containers of 300ml and 500ml so that it can last for a long time. Kenneth has earned himself a good living out of this business.

He intends to widen his market by sourcing out new clients that he can supply. However, this calls for increased capital which is not readily available for raw materials and packaging. He therefore approached UGAFODE and applied for a loan of 5,000,000 UGX to purchase raw materials.

He is so thankful to Kiva lenders for the support extended to him.
