Twitezimbere Gatebe Group

Gicumbi, Eastern Province, Rwanda / Agriculture

Twitezimbere Gatebe Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers and install irrigation water pipes.

Twitezimbere Gatebe Group's story

Esperance is a 46-year-old mother of six children. She is married, and always works hard to improve her family's living conditions.

Esperance cultivates and sells corn and wheat. She has 24 years of experience in this field and three employees. She is constantly challenged by the dry season, nevertheless she gradually expands her business, but her lack of capital prevents her from reaching her sales targets and slows her profit growth. This is the reason why she is requesting this loan in order to buy fertilizers and install irrigation water pipes which will help increase her production and sales.

The profits generated by this loan will be used to pay for her children's school fees. This is her first loan cycle with Visionfund Rwanda, plus she is the Twitezimbere Gatebe group leader.

Esperance is deeply thankful towards the Kiva lenders for offering her this loan.
