Musu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more cigarettes, alcoholic drinks, Maggi cubes, onions, salt, pepper, palm oil, ground nuts, etc.

Musu's story

Meet 32-year-old Musu from Waterloo 2 branch. She is married and has three children between the ages of 4 and 9 years.

Musu runs a retail business and sells cigarettes, alcoholic drinks, Maggi cubes, onions, salt, pepper, palm oil, ground nuts, etc., to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for two years now and works nine hours per day and six days a week. Her business is going on well without any challenges.

Musu requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more cigarettes, alcoholic drinks, Maggi cubes, onions, salt, pepper, palm oil, ground nuts, etc., to increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her to educate her children and to build a house. In the next five years she wants to expand to a big shop.

She sends thanks and appreciation to the BRAC and Kiva community for their support.
