Marie's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables to sell.

Marie's Group's story

This Banc Villageois, created in April 2010, consists of this group of six very energetic women who belong to the same community and share the same values. Their principal business is commerce.

Mrs. Marie, 53, is seated on the right in the photo with her hand raised. She is a married mother of eight, two of whom are boys and all of whom attend school.

Mrs. Marie runs a small vegetable business; she buys her merchandise (beans, carrots, cabbage…) at the central market and sells from her home. She capitalizes on her more than 20 years of experience in this domain.

She is going to buy two sacks each of cabbage, carrots, vegetables, and turnips that she will sell at a good profit. She is not the only one in this business, but she does well.

She uses the earnings to support her business.
