Naome (Blue) Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to restock groceries for her tuck-shop and material for her tailoring business.

Naome (Blue) Group's story

Spiwe is a hardworking woman aged 43 years. She lives in Budiriro with her family. She is a married mother with six children. Her husband has not been working for the past two years but recently got a job in South Africa as a truck driver. She runs a tailoring business, specialising in curtains. She supplied beautiful curtains to various houses in her neighbourhood.

Currently her business has grown big and has a lot of customers to serve. After realising that her business was in need of more capital, she decided to form a group with her friends, which they named Naome. Spiwe says that the profits obtained from her tailoring business were used to open a tuck-shop, take care of her household upkeep, and buy medication for her mother who is not well. The group is now on its fifth loan which amounts to $2,900. Spiwe used her portion of the loan to restock groceries for her tuck-shop and material for her tailoring business.
